How did it all start? In 2016, the theme of ZodiaCon was cyberpunk. Altair and Canus decided to show furries what it's really like. They prepared a simple workshop on the basics of working with Arduino for those interested. The success was unexpected, and it turned out that many of the participants were interested in technical things. And six months later, TechFurMeet was born - a smaller, specialized brother of ZodiaCon.

Just like at regular furry conventions, you will meet all sorts of people at our convention - everyone is welcome regardless of animal species, size, fur color, gender, or sexual orientation.
When and where is this year's event?
TechFurMeet 2025 will take place from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Oáza srdce hotel in Horní Bradlo, near Pardubice. It is the same hotel as in previous years.

The hotel offers 34 two- to five-bed rooms, the total capacity is circa 100 beds. Most of the rooms have their own WC and bathroom, some rooms have their own bathroom but share a WC (yeah, we don't get it either...). All the public areas and one room are wheelchair accessible.
The public areas are numerous - two large event spaces and lots of smaller ones, giving us (well, YOU mainly) a lot of room for SIGs and other things. (Art show, hide-and-seek, hiding corpses...)
The consite is located in the lovely nature near the Seč dam, all part of the protected landscape area Železné hory (Iron mountains, how cool is that, eh?). Therefore besides having a cool name it has plenty of stuff to see.
